Cyanotype Workshop 2023

A drop in workshop which took place at Timber Festival, 2023

At the amazing Timber Festival, myself and co Facilitator @Hayls_Creative.Earth.Connections this was in participation with Buzzing Roots.

It was a beautiful summers day and we spent the entire day facilitating Cyanotype workshops for the timber festival community.

It was drop in. Families, young children, teenagers, adults and the elderly popped in to get creative!

The atmosphere was electric, it was so beautiful to see people get involved.

Some who attended had never tried cyanotype before and some were masters! It really did not matter, all were welcome and myself and Hayley were on hand to support anyone.

It was a really busy day – around 300 people participated.

We then got a chance to pack up, and explore the festival, having a little boogie and some gorgeous vegan food.

St Mathews Park day

Working with Buzzing Roots in Leicester

Working with Buzzing Roots to facilitate a creative workshop for the St Mathews Big local, Park day in Leicester. A fabulous day for the community. The workshop was a drop in. The idea behind the workshop was for the community’s children to design their own wallpaper for the library. It would include drawings and writing about where reading takes them, and what they love about reading.
